The Building Blocks of Learning! Students in the Swans class experimented with building and engineering today! They had fun using their inventive and imaginative minds building a variety of structures from pyramid and high rise buildings to hats, and even a human basketball hoop out of straw constructors and magnetic blocks. This is part of a series of learning carts to assess concepts and set up learning activities that allow students to explore their creativity in relevant and interesting ways!

Students were encouraged to draw the details of their facial features with different shapes and lines, working from a photo of themselves. Students traced and looked into the intricacies, seeing the face for all it's parts and complexities. What a colorful representation of each student and the finished product is a true work of art!
