MNCS students Ben Backlund and Nolan Anderson received special recognition and honor today for their quick thinking and actions during a Feb. 16 incident in which Nolan's 6-year-old sister Madolyn was choking after a sucker lodged in her throat, while riding the bus back from school. The boys did the Heimlich maneuver, and Nolan also added hard pats on the back that ultimately dislodged the sucker. See full story in the link below:
